Our entire trip revolved around this iconic landmark of Vietnam. We naively thought we'd book a hotel on the beach and enjoy the views. Hotels, by the way, are suspiciously cheap there. Now it's clear why. A significant portion of the coastline is occupied by ships and yachts, and the only way to experience that picture-perfect scene is to cruise around the bay. And so, our first-ever cruise happened to be.
I'll say right away that it's best to book a cruise for 2 nights and 3 days to allow time to relax a bit. Those 24 hours were too intense, and I really wanted to just sit in peace and quiet.
