What Does Baylor Shift Mean in Nursing | aka The Baylor Plan
I'm going over what a Baylor shift is in nursing (also called a Baylor plan). I'll also let you know what I think are the pros and cons of this plan and who could benefit from having this schedule.

Brief Summary
The Baylor shift or Baylor plan was a staffing schedule developed at the Baylor University Medical Center. It was a way to deal with staffing shortages. Nurses could sign up to work just the weekend shifts but were then paid more for doing it. It's a schedule that gives you the flexibility of having your weekdays off. But the downside of not having a weekend.
