A counter-protesting mob throw fireworks and bottles at police 7th August
They charge at a group of around 50 disorderly youths who turned up, throwing bottles and shooting fireworks at police.
Ten of them were arrested.
Local MP for the area Sarah Jones said: "I want to thank police officers in Croydon for their hard work to keep our community safe. Last night (Wednesday) Croydon police swiftly responded to a small number of people carrying out criminal disorder on Croydon’s streets.
