"Ropes and Ladders" (2020) is the second in a series of four videos for music from the album "Receive" (Paleo Music, 1998) by Conrad Praetzel with Robert Powell and Sukhawat Ali Khan. Visuals for the series are from "The Color of Pomegranates" (1969) by Armenian director, Sergei Parajanov which tells the story of 18th-century Armenian poet Sayat-Nova in an artful impressionistic way.
