Official Music Video to Calypso by Jadel, Off the 2024 album “Don’t Be Mistaken”
With "Calypso," Jadel embraces the heart and soul of Trinidad and Tobago, paying tribute to the island's rich culture, music, and vibrant spirit. Co-written by Jason "Shaft" Bishop and Jadel, and produced by Reckodrums and Shaft, the song blends tradi-tional Calypso influences with a fresh, contemporary sound.
The official music video, directed by Sean Davis and Melvern Isaac, is a stunning visual celebration of Trinidad and Tobago. From pristine white sand beaches and crystal-blue waters to the colorful artistry of Iconic Mas, the rhythm of the steelpan, and the beauty of the people, every scene captures the essence of Caribbean life.
"Calypso" is more than a song. It is a celebration of heritage, identity, and the unmistakable energy that makes Trinidad and Tobago the home of Carnival. Experience the music, embrace the culture, and feel the vibes of "Calypso."
This video was filmed on location in Trinidad and Tobago, showcasing the beauty, culture, and vibrant spirit of the islands.
Special thanks to the management and staff of Anchor's Grill & Bar, Tobago, as well as Mr. Glenn Roberts and Mr. Darryl Bartholomew, for their invaluable support and contributions in bringing this production to life.
