Landlord life?
We had our first test as rental property owners a few weeks ago. The pipes in the ceiling began to leak from the freeze. My first thought, “I’ll never financially recover from this.”
Luckily for us, our tenants saw it early and were able to shut off the water, minimizing the damage that took place. Within 24 hours, we had the pipes fixed and the ceiling damage remediated. Good as new.
In the end, we’re thankful for quick acting tenants and great resources.
