(Note: The Wikipedia entry for corn mazes says that there were corn mazes as early as the 1980s. However, the reference they list that backs up this claim links to a newspaper advertisement from 1996. After looking up this reference and doing additional digging, I could not find evidence of corn mazes before 1993. If you have additional information, please share in the comments below.)
