Here is a sneak peek into the first day of Milan 2024. Day 1 was dedicated to Ignitron. VJIM's mission with Ignitron is to identify and support innovative business plans that can positively impact society, as we believe that innovative ideas can create a better world. We are committed to helping entrepreneurs make their dreams a reality!
As part of Milan 2024, we offer podium and funding opportunities to entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and vision and receive recognition and financial support to bring their ideas to life.
The event attracted a diverse range of teams from around 13 different colleges.
The event winners were Prasad Vilas, Yash Bohara, Pratik Jain, and Sumit Sharma from Bhavans Vivekananda College. Their winning product, Ecoflex, is an innovative solution that combines an EV charging unit and a petrol refiller with an ethanol hub. This product elegantly addresses petrol pumps' challenges, such as diverse refilling/changing market trends, regulatory compliance, high machine and maintenance costs, changing storage tanks every five years, and safety and security concerns. Moreover, Ecoflex is approved under world sustainability goals, reducing risk and assisting speed enthusiasts.
Harshitha and Parkar Singh from Shiva Shivani Institute of Management were the runner-ups. They presented a data-driven platform for smart farming, providing personalized recommendations for optimal crops, input usage, and sowing dates based on soil health cards, weather forecasts, and other data, helping farmers boost productivity, reduce costs, and prevent wastage.
The winners of the Business Plan Competition were awarded a generous prize of Rs. 20,000, while the runners-up received Rs. 10,000. The competition was judged by esteemed professionals, Mr. A. Kartikeya, Chief of Staff at Emparadigm, and Mr. K. Viplove, Sales Head at PIP'S.
