I had the 1st generation .15 nitro Tmaxx, a 3.3 Tmaxx a few years ago, and a 3.3 REVO ...but I'm not a huge Traxxas fan and always end up selling them lol
...BUT!! I love 1/18 scale on-road cars and there are not too many of them available in the market. (brands I like) :) Also, parts are everywhere! I'm keeping this one :)

RC cars are my passion., looooong before quads !! :-)
I got deep into the hobby grade cars in 1988, but I'm 50 (in 16 days), and I had rc cars since I can remember.
When RadioShack was the only place to get them from,
when toys had cigarettes and alcohol sponsor decals on them lol

When it comes to rc cars and trucks,
I'm old school, I only like to buy "the good and well known brands" if you know what I mean ;-)

I started with a buggy nitro kit from Kyosho, that was my 1st car.
then, 5 electric Tamiya kits ,(now vintage),
and also vintage, the famous rc10 from Team Associated
... when there were almost no RTR available.

We used to pay less than $8 for a whole gallon of nitro fuel lol
No internet, no cell phones, no "how to videos"... you had to visit your local hobby shops and buy magazines, to learn the "how to's",, learn tricks, etc....
and the only way to look at pictures of new cars, parts, tracks, and EVERYTHING LOL

Plenty of cars and parts at the hobby shop, and old school guys TRULY AND VERY knowledgeable about the hobby.
I used to spend hours, 4 or 5 days a week at Colonial Photo & Hobby in Orlando, back in the 80's and 90's :-D
