Creating frame-by-frame animation

First, I'll show you the pros and cons of using one method or another when making an animated GIF.

I'll explain the first method, and the oldest, so to speak, in which I show you how to create the GIF using a frame-by-frame animation. This is what was done back when Adobe Image Ready was still around, and which, oddly enough, can still be done in the latest versions of Photoshop.

Next, I'll show you how to create the same GIF, but instead of using a frame-by-frame animation, I'll use a video animation. You can see the improvement in the results.

Finally, I'll show you how to save the GIF, either from a frame-by-frame animation or a video animation.
