TIA PORTAL- Writing you First TIA Code in SCL
In this video, I will introduce you to SCL Language in TIA portal
why this Language, sometimes it’s hard writing PLC code in LAD (ladder logic) or FBD (function block diagram). Especially, if you have to do some math work or mass operations.
In these cases, you can easily use SCL/ST (Structured Control Language/Structured Text.) to achieve this goal.
In short SCL is used to write special functions within your PLC program and it’s not recommend writing the enter PLC program in SCL.
