NoScript Makes the Web Suck Less
Quick installation and usage showoff of NoScript in Firefox (also available on Chromium/Iridium/Chrome and perhaps other Chrome derivatives).
More often than not, if you get forcibly taken from behind without lubricant by your web browser, it'll come in the form of malicious JS. This is where NoScript comes in handy. It allows you to disable JS globally, and allow only the scripts you absolutely need, when you absolutely need them.
