Ukulele Review: Ortega Hydra Ukulele
A couple of months ago, my Ortega Hydra finally came into the dealer where I had ordered it many months before. I have several eight string ukuleles, and when I take one to an event, I usually end up bringing a four string, too. So this seemed not only like a fun ukulele to own (it causes a LOT of reaction for others) but practical.
It is a well-built instrument, but in terms of sound quality it has some issues that make it less than ideal, added with a heavy build and a relatively high price tag for what you are buying.
