PLAIN ENGLISH DRAFTING – THEORY AND PRACTICE
The objective of this course was to develop drafting skills for those involved in preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents. It had a theory section that provided delegates with the tools needed for effective drafting. It was followed by practical exercises where delegates examined examples of drafting and were challenged to answer client questions such as “what does this clause mean?”
The course also discussed ways of avoiding such questions arising in the first place.
