March Packaging Madness!
Unfortunately, we can't think of any good Python/basketball metaphors, so that's where the joke ends. This month, Dave McLain will be talking about managing Python packages. He'll go over deploying your first package, releasing updates, and how to use modified versions of other people's libraries. He'll also include a discussion of MapMyFitness's internal packaging and deployment process, which uses devpi (http://doc.devpi.net/latest/) as an internal PyPI mirror to provide easy installation of dependencies. It'll be a slam dunk! (Okay, we thought of one after all...)
