Turtles Love Cars
A dude on a bike bravely rescues this turtle from four lanes of traffic (turtle had crossed three lanes by itself) and then set it free. I don't know who the dude was but he had a compassionate soul, male pattern baldness and a not-so-expenisve bike. The turtle which I think is a red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans) made a straight shot for the nearest car body shop rather than heading for the river. I think he was looking to get some sick custom decal flames painted on his plastron.
