You would think the more time passes, the better games are designed, right? Wrong! In the sixth part of the series, Lawnie exposes the obvious: gaming has lost its sense of adventure and has sold out on a mechanical level, accepting the codification of design norms programmed thirty years prior. Watch as he grumbles his way through another video essay, in an attempt to explain how older games were designed better, and how much of what we are impressed by today was accomplished in the DOS era.
