From a traumatic brain injury to graduating a top nursing school
Ashton Ayers' life took a dramatic turn when she was just 14 years old. While riding around her neighborhood on a golf cart with friends, she fell off and hit her head on the pavement. The accident caused a brain bleed that left her unable to breathe on her own and with very little motor function.
Defying all odds, she graduated with her high school class and excelled in UAB's nursing program; Now, she wants to inspired everyone to push to accomplish whatever they set their mind to.
