Christian Verstrate HP Chief Technologist for Cloud Computing explains a self-assessment tool that customers can use to evaluate your applications for cloud suitability, and if so determine what type of cloud would suit the application.
Factors such as licensing, technology, geographic boundaries are included in the interactive tool, which allows the user to add specific characteristics for the application in its current form.
The tool becomes a starting point for possible modification of the app to cloud deployment.
