6.0 Powerstroke CCV Filter Delete
In this video the 6.0 Bros go the 6.0 Powerstroke CCV filter delete. There are many options that people use to address this area. Some use a reroute others upgrade to the newer style valve cover and filter. The ccv filter is a maintenance item and needs to be addressed. on newer style setups I would recommend just doing a CCV filter replacement as opposed to the CCV filter delete that I did here, while keeping the output of it into the intake tube. There are many people that recommend doing a CCV reroute where they take heater hose or similar style hose and route the output under the truck, some even into the exhaust. When your CCV setup is not addressed it can cause excessive crank pressure this will lead to increase in oil leaks. ( could be why 6.0 are known for bedplates leaking similar to the 6.7 with its CCV setup issues) The 6.0 Powerstroke ccv mod is one of the most important ones you are overlooking. The 6.0 Powerstroke ccv filter is such an overlooked item that may be contributing to oil leaks in your truck right now! Just to clear things up you do not want to do a ccv delete, we are only doing a 6.0 Powerstroke ccv filter delete. The 6.0 Powerstroke CCV problems are often overlooked and may be causing more than just oil leaks. they could also be adding to turbo seal failure and other seals or gaskets having issues!
