Sample Flipping - Whitney and Jones Round 2
In this episode we flip the same two guys we did last week, Whitney Houston and Vince Jones. This time we really keep the two genres of, 80s rnb and Jazz, in their own style, to make a simple but attractive beat.
Along the way we take a look at some other tips such as:
dropping out parts of a sample
dropping out bass to jam with the beat
double handed pad hitting for our kick drum
and i rant about not using trumpet as your main sample in a beat.
