Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro both launched in India under 15000 rs
While the Realme 3 Pro launched with Snapdragon 710 & the same 16mp SonyIMX519 camera used before on OnePlus 6t
Redmi Note 7 Pro launched with Snapdragon 675 with 48mp SonyIMX586 camera sensor
Both Realme & Redmi are quite good at their pricing
Built & Design -
Realme 3 Pro comes with polycarbonate body with s curved light pattern & gradient finish with Gorilla glass 5 protection only on the front display while
Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with Glass sandwich design with Gorilla glass 5 protection on each side
Display -
While both smartphones come with dew drop and dot notch display with minimal bezels
Display on Realme 3 Pro looks brighter than the display on the Redmi Note 7 Pro
Software & UI -
Realme 3 Pro runs on Color OS 6 while Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on miui 11
Color OS 6 is now much improved than color OS 5.2 & well optimized to give you better battery life
But compare to miui the color os is still behind it
Ram & Storage -
Both Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with 4GB RAM & 64GB emmc 5.1 storage
But realme 3 Pro have advantage bcoz of dedicated micro SD card slot for memory expansion
Performance -
Realme 3 Pro antutu and benchmark score is less than Redmi Note 7 Pro antutu score bcoz of older cpu
But for better gaming and handling heavy tasks GPU need to be powerful
And here the Realme 3 Pro performance is much better because of Adreno 616 GPU while the Redmi Note 7 Pro has Adreno 612 GPU
Battery -
Realme 3 Pro comes with 4045mah battery & 20w Vooc Flash Charge 3.0 charger included in box
Redmi Note 7 comes with 4000mah battery & support qualcomm quick charge 4 but sadly there's no quick charger in the box
Even if you charge Redmi Note 7 Pro with 18w charger it take around 2hrs 10mins to fully charge the phone
While the Vooc Flash Charge 3.0 only takes 1hr 14mins to fully charge the Realme 3 Pro
And bcoz of the energy saving screen optimisation you can even get 2hrs more screen on time on Realme 3 Pro
Pubg -
Playing PUBG Mobile on Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro with HD graphics and high frame rate there's no such lag or frame drops
Redmi Note 7 Pro slightly heated up while realme 3 Pro is cooler all bcoz of it's polycarbonate body and Vooc Flash Charge
Means all the components responsible for quick charging present on the 20w Charging brick instead of the Realme 3 Pro
Camera -
Realme 3 Pro have the same 16mp sonyimx519 camera sensor used on the OnePlus 6t and comes with lot of features like 960fps super slow motion & nightsight
While the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with 48mp sonyimx586 sensor
Camera UI on the Redmi Note 7 Pro is quite laggy and there is nightshot present for low light photography
Both Realme 3 Pro & Redmi Note 7 Pro has a secondary 5mp camera with f/2.4 aperture for depth sense
Google camera mod also works on both the phone
And you can use G-cam Nightsight on Realme 3 Pro & Redmi Note 7 Pro as both comes with camera to api enabled
*But the 25mp front camera on the Realme 3 Pro easily outperform the Redmi Note 7 Pro 13mp front camera
Audio -
Realme 3 Pro offers much better audio experience through the single bottom firing speaker as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack with real hd sound compare to Redmi Note 7 Pro
Security & privacy -
Fingerprint scanner works 10/10 times on both Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro
And both have same response time
While the software based face unlock on the Realme 3 Pro is much faster than Redmi Note 7 Pro face unlock
*Realme 3 Pro also have close eye rejection & assistive lighting feature and unlocks the phone as fast as the OnePlus 6t
Conclusion -
Honestly speaking, after using both the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro.
I kinda like Realme 3 Pro in every aspects.
However it's my personal choice.
But both Xiaomi and Realme killed the midrange segment with their phones & bcoz of their competition , consumers are getting all the benefits.
But yes Realme 3 Pro or Realme X lite , the best smartphone choice at their offering price.
