One of these is Dogecoin - based on the popular Internet meme and on Litecoin's open-source protocol - which quickly amassed thousands of users. On Christmas, Dogewallets were attacked and transactions routed to a single mystery user, leading to fervent speculation as to the culprit. So are Altcoins still too risky?
