GUY BASE JUMPING OFF HALF DOME!
July 29th 2009. My family and I climbed half dome by 5:45am to watch the sunrise (yearly hike) and had an even more beautiful surprise this year. I was able to watch someone base jump and it was a BEAUTIFUL thing to witness. And yes, he made it down safely. (note: I was also quite jealous of how fast he made it to the valley floor considering I had still an 8 mile hike down ahead of me)
