How to do a 2d move in AutoCAD
If you want to move objects like lines and points in AutoCAD, and only want to move them 2d, and not change the height of the objects you are moving, this video will help you do that.
Changing the OSNAPZ variable to 1 will set the height of all commands and actions to the default height, so there won't be any vertical differences between the base and destination points when moving objects.
