Let’s Play INSIDE #08: Suddenly, Science Gets Weird...er

I already have many questions about the setting that haven’t yet been answered. What is going on with the mindless humans I’ve encountered? Why can I mind control them with the strange helmets? What was going on in the farm with the pigs? What are the psirens? Why am I being hunted and just where are the mindless humans being taken to? It’s all beginning to point towards experiments of some kind – perhaps ones that went wrong – but that’s just a guess. Fortunately, there game hasn’t yet thrown any new questions at me to compound the ones I’m already grappling with.
The key word there is ‘yet’.
As we draw closer to our inevitable goal – whatever that is – things are bound to get even stranger and mysterious. We’ve seen things that already go far beyond the boundaries of science as we know it, but nothing stops the game from throwing even stranger things at us in the puzzles we must solve. They’ll surely introduce new mechanics to layer on top of those we already know, ramping up the difficulty even as we struggle to grasp just what is going on. Will we ever get the answers we seek and will we regret finding them when we do?
