I MADE THE WUPHF APP FROM THE OFFICE | Programming Project: Java Tomcat Web Application
YES I made the WUPHF app from The Office TV show series. WUPHF is a fake app created in the show that allows for someone to get notified from Facebook, Twitter, Text, Email, and Fax.
I don't go in depth on how I made it, I'll save that for another time. I made this video to just show that the idea is feasible.
For those software engineers out there; I used Java for my programming language, Jersey 2 for my http server, and tomcat to host my application. I integrated with Twitter's API by using an unofficial java library. I also used Java AWT to print from a printer. Using SMTP libraries I was able to send an email and text message to my phone.
