[About Project J.A.I.son]
Hey there, Limit here! I’m a UW computer science student who is also an osu! player (hi, yes, this is To My Limit). I’ve been following vedal987’s work since Neuro-sama’s debut, and I was inspired by the recent AI boom to start learning. One thing led to another and now I find myself wanting to take on this as my long-term project. I’m still a relatively new programmer, but I’ve been studying AI and have done several AI related internships. Now I believe I can make something comparable and thought I’d share my work with all of you to aggregate the scattered information on this topic.
Project J.A.I.son is my attempt at making an easily customizable AI VTuber with all the charms and features of the widely popular Neuro-sama ( / @neurosama ) by vedal987. I’ll be keeping the code public on Github as well as explain what I’m doing through the videos in this series. To be clear, these videos aren’t meant to be tutorials (those may come in the future). Instead, I aim for these videos to be a presentation of the development process for beginners like me, an explanation of my choices, and an opportunity for the community to improve not just the project but my skills as well.
I hope you stick around and support me on this journey. No matter what happens, I promise to put in 10 000 hours as a coder into this channel.
