65816 16 bit computer FPGA with SNES
This is my 16 bit computer using a SNES as the 65816 CPU.
The DE2-115 FPGA is connected to the SNES bus and handles the mapping.
The FPGA video resolution is 800 x 600 at 60 Hz.
The PS/2 keyboard and SNES controller both work at the same time.
SNES ROMs are loaded off an SD card into SRAM. and the SNES executes code out of there.
Also as I didn't have the courage to hijack my real SNES for it's CPU, so I used the Supaboy SNES clone, which works just as well.
