I don't have a video
**PLEASE READ**
I know this video is VERY different from my usual content and my next video will definitely return to my regularly scheduled programming. But in the meantime here's the story behind this video: I began filming this video in the Fall of 2020 (you might be able to tell by the trees & grass and such). I filmed and edited most of it at that time but then I jumped into other projects and the whole premise of 'I don't have my next video' wasn't really true anymore. With that said, this last weekend I was actually pretty busy (and lazy) and I didn't get to film my next video. I was starting to cope with the fact that I just wasn't going to upload this week but then I remembered that this video sat nearly finished in my hard drive. And not only that but the premise was, now, truer than ever - I DID NOT have my next video.
After looking over the footage again, there are some scenes that I would definitely reshoot if I had the
opportunity. But I know that not having an expected end date would have hurled me into the never ending spiral of 'perfection seeking' that artsy people can often get stuck in. In the end, I'm glad that I pressured myself into finishing it. I've learned a lot about this style of filming/storytelling and hopefully I can build from that and apply it to my next project.
