Lean Manufacturing and improvements - Down Draft Table (3D Animation Exploded View)
This video is intended to show the construction of one of our down draft tables through an exploded view. This was a recently build for a lean improvement in our cabinet shop.
Franklin Building Supply employee owner Wendell Thompson designed and built this down draft table. Jonny Johnson recreated the table in 3D space and then animated it to help illustrate how it was built. This is an example of one of our 2 Second Lean Improvement for minimizing airborne dust.
What is Lean manufacturing?
It's a methodology that focuses on minimizing waste within manufacturing systems while simultaneously maximizing productivity.
