PLC/HMI timer display for a protective relay test set
This short video shows the operation of a PLC-based timer used to measure the tripping time of a "51" time-overcurrent protective relay. Precise measurements of time are essential for calibrating 51 relays, and with this capability we can do real testing of 51 relays with our home-made relay test set.
