Backpacking and Hammock Camping on the Appalachian Trail: The Virginia Triple Crown
This backpacking trip was one that we didn't think was going to happen. Ultimately we decided to hike along the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. We've never backpacked there before but the opportunity came up to complete the famous Virginia Triple Crown. If you're familiar with it includes three amazing sights: McAfee Knob, Tinker Cliffs and Dragon's Tooth. I mention it several times in the video but this was one of the most challenging hikes we've done on the East Coast. We didn't have to complete the entire backpacking loop but instead opted to stash cars at McAfee and Dragon's Tooth trailheads. This was a fun video to rewatch and edit. Lots of camaraderie, injuries, beautiful scenery and epic views. Thanks for joining us!
