Rise of the Phoenix Guard! A Big Hobby Challenge
Welcome to my very first video! This is Episode 1 of my Road to Bloodstorm series, where I prepare my Phoenix Guard-themed High Elf army for the upcoming Warhammer Fantasy tournament: Bloodstorm: Ratkin Revolt.
I talk about the event, my narrative army list, and the challenge of finishing everything in time, with kids, life, and a ticking clock.
Huge shoutout to Lars for organizing these awesome events. They strike the perfect balance between friendly competition and fun for all levels. Check them out at:

This time around, every player gets a GIANT for free, so expect some big surprises in the missions!
My army includes:
A Flame Warden Noble on Frost Phoenix
A Loremaster Noble
Two units of Silver Helms
5 Archers (Phoenix fan club?)
15 Flame Wardens
A Flamespyre Phoenix
2 Great Eagles (soon-to-be baby phoenixes)
A custom-themed Giant
I’ve got 4 weeks to finish it all. Let’s see if I can pull it off.
