Quantum-enhanced medical image analyzer in collaboration with University of Latvia
Accenture Baltics partnered with a research team of the Quantum Computer Science Centre of the University of Latvia to find out how quantum computing can be applied to the analysis of medical images. As a result, a custom machine-learning algorithm was created that can detect common radiographic anomalies in chest X-rays and a prototype application was built to demonstrate how a radiologist can apply this algorithm to their workflow.
