Fightstar - Palahniuk's Laughter [Guitar Cover]
Guitar cover of "Palahniuk's Laughter" by Fightstar from their album, "They Liked You Better When You Were Dead". I've wanted to cover this song for a long time but its always been so hard to record because the mixing on the original song is very strange. The quieter parts are really quiet and the heavy parts are really loud. It is quite a raw sounding EP in that sense. I had to use moises to raise the level of the drums and vocals a bit. But yeah, I like the sound of this record, but its not ideal for recording guitar covers lol. Tuning is Drop B.
Also, this was the first cover I had recorded in about a week due to me spending so long messing around with tones. I wish I never changed my settings in the first place lol. I think in future I might change up the way I record.
