Cavalry Tutorial - How to Animate a Thermostat [Animation Control]
It's odd, but in almost a decade of motion graphics, I've animated SO MANY THERMOSTATS. Really though, if you're in motion graphics, you're likely to animate anything that is on a screen and these days, there's more and more thermostats with screens.
In this Cavalry tutorial, we animate the numbers, colors, and dial rotation all with just a few keyframes. The benefit of a procedural workflow in Cavalry is the ability to drive lots of complexity with a few simple keyframes.
