Easy Half Double Crochet Beanie Video Tutorial in All Sizes Learn to Crochet a Simple Hat

Follow along in the video to make your own crochet beanie with the half double crochet stitch. This simple pattern starts with the top of the hat down to the brim.
In this video I show you how to start your hat, and increase your crown circle for each size: babies, toddlers, children, teens and adults. Then we move on to the one row repeat to finish it up (starts at 12:19). All hat height sizes included in the video too.
Materials to crochet this hat:
#4 medium worsted weight yarn pictured in Lion Brand Heartland* (100% acrylic, 251 yd / 230 m, 5 oz, 142 g) color: Acadia, (1) ball. See recommended yarn by size below.
5mm US Size H-8 crochet hook,* or hook size needed to meet gauge.
