Jarrard Anthony - The Dream
(2001) Jarrard Anthony 'The Dream' is one of the best Neo Soul tunes of that year, a precursor to his overlooked album dropping a couple of years later. This single came out on the short-lived UK Hip Hop label Stonegroove. Why it never got more plays at the time I don't know. I think I first heard it in a Basement Jaxx mix of all places. It's an unsung classic imo.
