On the brickyard patio outside the historic Carroll Baldwin Hall, the musicians of the Columbia Concert Band performs our summer concert repertoire for locals assembled in the shade of leafy trees.

The Columbia Concert Band is a group of approximately 90 musicians. We rehearse weekly and perform about five concerts per year. Our repertoire consists of many different musical styles, including traditional band arrangements, classical, contemporary, pop/rock, marches, jazz, Broadway, Americana, and baroque.
Founded in 1983, the Columbia Concert Band provides local musicians the opportunity to perform challenging band literature while entertaining the public in the Baltimore and Washington region. The band is affiliated with Howard Community College, which gives credit to students for band participation.
