How To Decorate a Skirt (or any clothing) With Tie Dye and Layered Stencils
Wow! You can transform boring old clothes into one-of-a-kind wearable art. In this tutorial, we will be using tie dye, layered stencils and a bit of stove top dying, to create a magical layered couture skirt. First, we will use a tie dye kit from Amazon, to create the overall mottled color. Then we do a little stove top dying, with Rit Dye, to tone down and mute the colors. I have a more detailed video on this step...the link is down in the description. Then, for the first time, I use layered stencils to create detailed looking paintings of poppies and peacocks. This piece was so much fun and is absolutely my new favorite skirt...enjoy!
