The Amex Platinum Card is truly my favorite credit card. American Express is known for offering superior benefits especially when it comes to travel. Be prepared to be pampered if you get this card. Not only will you find amazing deals on some of the nicest hotels and resorts, but you'll have access to exclusive airport lounges and you'll receive Gold Elite Status with both Marriott and Hilton. Although there is a $550 annual fee, you will make up for this in statement credits pretty quickly. Also, check out the the Schwab Amex Platinum card which will give you the ability to get 1.25% cash back on unlimited purchases. If you choose to make purchases in increments of $5k, you can expect to get even more points and cash out of your Platinum card. If you need a high limit card, American Express can hook you up.
