Elgato Cam Link 4k USB Capture - Troubleshooting
Some tips that might help with setting up this device.
-Check that you are using a USB3 port
-Make sure you have the correct Hdmi cord micro versus mini
-Download the Elgato 4k Capture Utility, not the older game capture software
-Check that your USB cable is capable of 4k spec.
-Make sure your camera is capable of producing a 4k HDMI output. Gopro's don't do this.
-Make sure you push the "record" button on Sony mirror less cameras to send 4k rather than 1080
