How To Fix a Leaking or Dripping Shower
There are three common types of shower leaks: dripping from the shower head, leaking from the water inlet and outlet, and leaking from the shower valve cartridge.
#1: Shower Head Dripping
If the rain shower head drips for 30-60 seconds, it is normal because there is some water accumulation in the pipe.
#2: Water Inlet and Outlet Leaking
If the water inlet and outlet leak, we can disassemble the water inlet and outlet pipes. First remove the raw material tape above the water inlet and outlet, then wrap a new raw material tape and reinstall it.
#3: Shower Valve Cartridge Leaking
If we do not flush the gravel from the pipes before installing the shower, it will cause the shower valve cartridge to become clogged, eventually causing the shower to leak.
Solution 1: Remove the shower valve cartridge and clean it, then reinstall it to see if it is normal.
Solution 2: Replace new shower valve cartridge.
