Minato has a second chance at life. In a twist event that has left his wife dead, and his son, Naruto, lifeless, the Shinigami takes pity on the Hokage, knowing that his wife is trying to sacrifice her life to seal the beast into an unfit vessel. The Shinigami then decides that, as it pulls the spirit of the Nine-Tails through Minato’s body, that it pull the spirit of Minato as well so that the vessel will then work properly to hold the Nine-Tails. For years, Minato doesn’t know that he’s not actually Naruto, most of his past hidden from him. Naturally gifted, he breezes through the academy’s toughest exams. But one day, when he grows curious, he goes into his mind searching for answers and finds the Nine-Tails. The beast reveals to him exactly who he was, for better or worse, and Minato is left to cope with it. Minato and Hiruzen remain the only ones to truly know Minato’s reincarnation, but due to his own wishes, Minato decides to remain as a student of the academy, as he wishes to see the next generation of Shinobi left behind in his wake. And that’s pretty much where we catch up to now. I hope you’re ready for the next installment to this series.
