What's the difference?
Are frogs and toads same or is there any difference?
Frogs have long hind legs longer than their head and body for hopping .Toads have shorter legs and prefer to crawl than hop.
Frogs have smooth, slimy skin. Toads have dry,warty skin.Frogs are usually bright coloured like bright green or yellowish green where as toads have duller colours like olive green.
Frogs have athlete look where as toads are stout.
Frogs lay their eggs in clusters where as toads lay their eggs in long chains .
Frogs usually have big bulging eyes .Eyes of toads are more subtle.
Frogs spent most time in water than on land and toads spend more time on land as water.
Toads are poisonous whereas frogs are not. Toads have paratoid glands behind their eyes that secret toxins .
