As it turns out, xemu is a bit easier to set up than I thought it would be, so why not try out everyone's second-favorite SpongeBob game: the one based off the first movie!
It... works fine. It's a bit sluggish, even on my AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT and R9 Fury X. Some levels play fine with fluctuations in the 50-60fps range, while others tank pretty hard into 30-ish territory.
Google Eyes and Smelly Knick-Knacks in particular is legitimately unplayable right now - I only get like 6 or 7fps in that level, which not only makes it unplayable, but it actually breaks how Hans is supposed to function.
Oh, and FMVs don't really work - but then again, this game only has storyboard cutscenes that are FMVs, so it's not a big deal.

Still, the fact that it works actually impresses me. So here's a somewhat short run of me messing about in Bubble Blowing Baby Hunt, Google Eyes and Smelly Knick-Knacks and Turn the Tables on Plankton, just to show off some of the more demanding levels of the game.
