How to block Kahoot! bots
A new tutorial on how to remove Kahoot! bots as older tutorials are outdated and no longer work. Bots are getting better all the time.
TLDW; Two Factor Auth is still a good idea to prevent bots, but it isn't perfect. Kahoot AntiBot upgrades Team Mode, Friendly Names, and Two Factor to block bots better.
Current Options:
Friendly Name Generator: Absolutely useless by itself. Bots will still join using their own names.
Team Mode: Good against old, outdated bots, but many bots now support team mode.
Two Factor Auth: Very good against most bots, but bots can still brute force the code and possibly spam the game.
Kahoot AntiBot: Using the options above, you can block 99.9% of bots as it detects invalid names, team members, and brute force attempts. You can additionally add more time to a question to account for stream lag.
