Hello, These are just my opinions and thoughts...on the Creality K1 Max.
I am not paid by anyone, I have Purchased each device, RC car, Quad, Plane ,Mod, Tank, 3D-printer, filament, PC part - ETC...Period.
Remember, These are just MY opinions, yours may be different. :)

Yes...I Purchased one : )
I am fairly certain I do have the Version "3", With Updated extruder gears (steel and magnetic), Red extruder sock, Ceramic heater thermister is the separate wrapped and different shape outer.

I printed the Benchy 1st off, and came out 98% good and VERY fast.
I had an issue right above the openings - Like it under extruded 1 or 2 layers - ? IDK.
Might have been the filament I was using, honestly.

I have sliced in Creality print, and Cloud and printed a XYZ calibration Cube (will be in next video).
And although the 1st layer is the best I have ever printed, the print itself was not.
A little ringing, and the top layer has a hole in it - ?

Now this all with all stock, all default settings - EXCEPT, I turned off the Brim in Creality print.

Obviously, It needs some "tweaking" : )
Did that, same issues. Filament, Slicer? IDK?

On Creality Print Slicer...Looks very familiar...
I only used, as - at this time, its the only one that will run all the fans, settings, and camera for the K1 Max - Without rooting OR Orca, that I just learned about recently.
I have downloaded Orca, not used as yet (its been a day!, LOL)

On Creality Cloud...Why?
It is very slow, the camera doesnt load, and the few times it does, its slow and acting like I am on a dial up connection!
^ On my PC
On my cell - The camera worked 95% of the time, but had a lot of lag issues.
The ONLY reason I would have used Creality Cloud was for the camera.

Now Orca slicer..Well 1st test cube....and the camera feed, the time lapse - that I could NOT get from the Creality versions...
Is so far AMAZING!

Check the next video - there are some time lapses in that one : )

So, at this point, if asked if I would buy another K1 max...YES!
If it will print as fast as it does, as good as my Creality CR6-SE's?
I have a few more prints to complete to really decide, but...I have already seen that the K1 Max can print very good, and very fast - with the right settings.

I wonder what Creality uses, when they slice prints that they include???
Nothing shows in the G-code files to say, but, Im not so sure they are using Creality print themselves.

???

AFTER - I went through and used Orca slicer....
YES! BUY Creality K1 Max (be sure you get a updated version).

Now, Im still new to Orca slicer
LINK to it - https://www.obico.io/blog/orcaslicer/

Im still using default settings in this video - I didnt realize there were built in calibrations that could be done, such as - Retraction, temp - few other things.
The camera view, the controls are a step up from Creality print -
Orca is not as in depth as if you rooted and ran Fluidd, but for me, at this time - I dont need that much.

As is, the K1 Max prints VERY well, VERY fast... and VERY loud!
And pretty much right out of the box.
I would say, based on MY experience with the K1 Max(3rd version), THIS is what I want when I buy a 3D printer, one that just works as it is supposed to!

Im not saying that I didnt have any issues, but nothing like changing stepper drivers, fans, power supply...Re writing code for Marlin...
Everything I did (other then the riser for the lid, moving the Filament holder out from the back (WHY did they put it back there?), was VERY
minimal at most with the hardware.
As for the slicer software, there a lot of them, Cura, Prusa Slicer Just to mention a few of the most used ones that I know of...

For me, On the K1 Max, Orca is the one I feel works and provides the best user and printing experience.
Little to NO post work on parts (as yet) after printing - Slicer settings might even take care of that, as I tweak them.
