This video demonstrates how to open or import an IFC project with FreeCAD. User has several options on how to open or import IFC file in FreeCAD. There is an option to open IFC in strict IFC mode (locked mode) or unlocked mode. Furthermore, user has an option to import only root project and then load additional objects on the fly as needed. There is also option to load simplified 3D representation of objects, not detail shapes. These options enable quicker IFC import or opening, which is useful especially with large IFC projects.
